351m / 400

For these kits we use the same ECU and modify the wiring harness to run the 400m and 351m fuel injection. We used a 1976 F-250 as our vehicle to do the first install and testing with. It has been on the road for 4 years now and is amazing and fun to drive.

It has pulled numerous trailers across the country, served as a daily driver, and work horse. As a daily driver it consistently gets about 15mpg. Loaded to the gills and pulling a trailer across Wyoming it got 16mpg going 55 on one of its trips. Since that first kit we have 10 of these kits in customers vehicles and they have all proven just as solid as our 460 kits.

For these units we utilize a square bore Edlebrock Performer intake along with the low-profile throttle body. From there all the work is done in-house. We built a custom jig to rework the intake and convert it to multi-port. With this approach we are able to use both the factory SBF fuel rails and fuel pressure regulators. We manufacture our own injector bosses out of aircraft grade aluminum. Using our same jig each boss is tig welded in place. From there the intake is moved onto the next station and is drilled to receive the injectors. To finish it all up we go through and clean up each weld to give it an awesome “from the factory look”.

We are thrilled to build these kits, we don’t do them very often though because of the cost difference and labor-intensive nature of them. Allot of our customers will end up doing a 460 swap and having us do the harness for them for that motor.
