Ditch the groaning, low pressure ford pump, and convert to a saginaw power steering pump that is built inside a ford housing. This allows you to use your original bracket, pulley and hardware. We take it a step further and upgrade you to a stainless high pressure line with AN fittings and adapters to make for an even nicer install. They special built these for us to easily handle 35’s and even manage 37’s better than any normal saginaw pump could.

Flowkooler - High Flow Water Pumps
Simply put, a stock volume water pump falls sadly short on a stock 460 powered truck, they simply don’t move enough volume. Even stock engines will fluctuate in temperature drastically from this problem. I have never seen anyone’s water pump keep up with these units. If you do any towing or have increased the power of your engine you will need help to move that massive amount of coolant faster. Your Ford engine and the ECU needs to stay within a specific temperature range to operate correctly. Too cold and you waste fuel, get too hot and the ECU leans the air fuel curve and overheats the engine even further. We searched high and low for a pump that actually worked with the stock radiator tubes, pump shaft, and fan bolt pattern. We were thrilled to find Flowkooler water pumps. But before we offered or recommended any part to anyone we thoroughly tested these first. We installed a few on our built up engines we were installing. What we found was this pump always held the temperature much much closer to the thermostat rating than you could ever expect out of a stock water pump.

This is a stand-alone ECU to upgrade from the EEC-IV ECU.
- These work with our stand-alone systems and also in the speed density (60-pin EEC-IV ecu) equipped 88-97 Ford trucks and Broncos and utilize a wideband Oxygen sensor (instead of the factory narrowband O2).
- We partnered up with DIYAutotune to find the best solution for seriously upgraded engines, and to allow full tuning and data logging capabilities. We have been installing and running these ecu’s over the last couple of years and have been thrilled at the doors they have opened for us. Allowing us to fully tune and datalog our engines. It was a steep learning curve to master, but we are taking the guesswork out of them for you. We give you numerous tune options to choose between for your initial fire-up and to get you going. From there we are launching an entire series of tuning videos to make your process a breeze. You will need to download either the free software or the upgraded version onto a laptop. Then plug your laptop in and load up one of our tunes. From there you can either manually change your AFR, VE & timing tables, or you can set it to autotune and go out driving it. Just lock down any areas you want to keep and let it tune the areas that need adjusting.
- These work great for manual transmission and mechanically/vaccum controlled automatics. These do not have E4OD controls built into them. When we use them in a E4OD truck we upgrade the transmission control with a US-Shift controller (also a worthwhile upgrade). We sell those controllers for the E4OD, 4r100, and even the 6R80.
- These units will allow you to adjust any and every aspect of your engine. From timing, fuel maps, rev-limiter, warm up times, boost applications, decel and accel enrichments, everything. They even allow you to listen for predetonation with headphones. They have built in air conditioning features and will allow that to work even better. The one thing they don’t have is cruise control, or electronic transmission controls.

14" Round Air Filter Base for Low-Profile Throttle Bodies
This is only for the Air Filter Base, not a complete Air Filter. We find these to be the perfect fit for the low-profile throttle bodies. These have a ¾ “ rise needed to clear your fuel rails. There is a metal port that connects to the driver side breather port. We also drill and install a grommet for the idle air bypass. Take the guess work and the possibility of drilling your air filter incorrectly away, we will gladly do this step. Top this off with any 14″ round air filter of your choice, and lid of your choice.

Stock injectors were 24’s. It is a mark of pride to say we need to jump up to 30’s. If you combine using our throttle body and modified intake manifold, the horsepower and torque increase is huge. Luckily, the speed density 460 computer will self tune and run these flawlessly.
Performance Modified Intake
We are proud to offer the only performance upgrade intake for 1988-1997 460’s. Whether you have built up your 460 or wanting more out of your stock motor letting it breath is always the answer to more horsepower and torque. Having seen the drastic performance increase with ported and balanced single plane manifolds paired with multi-port efi we had to give it a shot. The result was an instant and undeniably increase in power. Starting with Ford’s factory intake we start by cutting the stair-stepped bottom out. From there we remove all the internal passages. They are cut back into a balanced much short length. The air no longer has to get drawn through long runners that make sharp 90 degree turns. Instead each cylinder can now easily draw the air it needs to make the power a 460 is capable of. The easiest way to describe the difference is, instead of downshifting just lay into the throttle and watch the speedo climb. As always, we did 12 time trial pulls before and after the intake. The difference was 1.75 seconds difference in 0-60 in the pictured blue and white 9000 lb. Monster. Everyone who has gone for a ride has said they all felt a huge difference. As the driver it feels like I just unhooked the flatbed trailer.

Valve Spring Compressor Tool
These work in the truck to compress your valve spring to upgrade your springs, locks, and retainers. They are the easiest to use, and one of the only tools that will allow you to pull the valve covers, swap springs and hardware in the truck. We find they work even better without the handle. Simply swap the handle for the bolt and tighten it down with a wrench.
Lisle Valve Holders
You can use these in the truck or on an engine stand. Simply hook up your air compressor line and the air pressure will hold the valves from dropping while you install valve springs. These Lisle valve holders have 2-sizes for both 14mm and 18mm spark plug threads.

Years of testing and trying out cams and throwing high ratio roller rockers on top of our cams has helped us develop this camshaft package. This is a well mannered monster that works great with EFI and makes great torque across the whole powerband. This cam is the answer to unleashing these motors’ potential.

This cam just blew away what I even thought was possible with these engines and stock ecu’s. It is the key to making big power even with the E7TE heads. The big lift and short duration is the key with this cam.
We developed this cam after running our stage 1 cam with 2.0 ratio roller rockers to kick it up to .566/.600 lift, then with 1.9 ratio to see the difference again. What we discovered was that a big lift and short duration makes for a well mannered monster. I still chuckle when the truck fires up crisp and clean at 0 degrees outside. It makes the truck race up to speed with ease and like never before, even at elevation, climbing a hill and right into the wind—- it straight pulls. I then spent a lot of time with Howards coming up with this lobe profile to nail down what I wanted on this one, and then to come up with a springs, locks, and retainers package to accomodate what we developed. Don’t shy away, this cam will also work amazingly well in carbureted engines.
DON’T BUY JUNK CAMS NO MATTER THE NAME ON THE BOX. THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT WILL WORK WITH EFI OR THEY WILL WIPE OUT YOUR ENGINE, IT’S NOT WORTH SAVING A LITTLE MONEY.
After years of trying and losing over 20 cams we decided to modify our favorites and make our own lines. We partnered up with Howard’s cams to get these custom made (IN THE USA) to our specifications. Like so many others, we have fought low quality cams failing on us (most of them with a big name on the package). Not willing to take any chances ever again, we are thrilled to have partnered up with Howard’s Cams, and their unrivaled quality. To be able to run this camshaft you have to swap to the included springs, locks, and retainers. We have always had great spring pressure with this setup, we rarely even put shims under these to hit our target of seat pressure, but also keep the “over the nose” pressure where we want it. This package will buy you 120 thousands more clearance between the valve seal and valve retainer. You will still want to check your clearance, especially with the E7TE heads. We have never lost a single Howards camshaft, and to make sure you don’t either, we are sending you the same break-in oil we run. You can absolutely hear this cam. It is a tire frying animal. It is actually an improved upon design based off of the towing beast cam design. It has worked great with EFI.
