Valve Spring Compressor Tool
These work in the truck to compress your valve spring to upgrade your springs, locks, and retainers. They are the easiest to use, and one of the only tools that will allow you to pull the valve covers, swap springs and hardware in the truck. We find they work even better without the handle. Simply swap the handle for the bolt and tighten it down with a wrench.

Valve Spring Measuring Tool and Shim Kit
Our valve spring kits almost always come in over 90 lbs at the seat. However, when we build heads we set them between 105 to 115 lbs depending on how hard the motor will be reved up. If you would like to set them up to the same level that we do you will need the measuring tool we use and the shims to to bring them up and make them all perfect and evenly matched.
This kit includes the valve spring height micrometer and two full sets of valve spring shims. It’s very simple just measure the distance from the valve spring seat to the new retainers we give you on each valve, shim the spring up to the recommended height and then swap the measuring tool with the spring. We take it a step farther we measure and check the micrometer before we box them.
