Harland Sharp 7.5 Pedestal Mount Roller Rockers
Harland Sharp Pedestal Mount Adjustable Roller Rockers for 460, 429, 351C, 351M/400 (1.73 Ratio)
460 EFI Guys has teamed up with Harland Sharp to offer our customers the highest quality roller rockers for their factory EFI and carbureted 460/429, 351C and 351M/400 heads. These are a full set of adjustable full roller rockers for factory pedestal mount Ford heads. No guide plates are required with these due to the design of the self-centering pedestal foot block.
Why upgrade you might ask? Don’t believe the nay-sayers. Roller rockers make a difference. Not all your valves are opening the same amount with stamped steel rockers. It gets worse with higher spring pressure and higher rpm. You will get more horsepower with roller rockers with less friction and less oil temperature and breakdown. If you’re looking for quality and performance these are the best option for consistency and accuracy in valve lift. It will help you to pull the maximum potential out of your camshaft.
Kit includes:
- 16 adjustable roller rockers, pedestal feet and bolts
Fits:
Pedestal mount factory Ford heads 7.5 / 460, 429, 351C, 351M/400 (1.73 ratio)
for spring pressures up to 600 lbs. at the nose of the cam.
Adjustable rocker set important notes*
- You will need to measure and order correct length pushrods. What we have found for the length on our builds is 8.350 in. (for flat tappet) & 7.850 in. (for Crower hydraulic roller lifters). Typically $100 for 5/16” or $150 for 3/8” pushrods.
- You will need to raise your 460 EFI stock valve covers ½”. You can do this one of three ways: with a set of MediceMfg valve cover spacers, with a set of MediceMfg perimeter bolt valve cover adapters, or by adding a ½” to the height of your valve covers.

.513 / .536 Lift, 112 LSA, 215 / 225 duration @ .050 lift, 4 degrees advance cut in for 108 intake centerline.
You can absolutely hear this cam. It is a tire frying animal. It is actually an improved upon design based off of the towing beast cam design. It has worked great with EFI. We have run even larger cams than this with the stock efi computers, but we learned to trim those back to this spec to be much happier for a daily driver, but still deliver great results. This one has an aggressive exhaust tone, flat and strong torque curve, and will work with Speed density EFI and make great power.

Performance Modified Intake
We are proud to offer the only performance upgrade intake for 1988-1997 460’s. Whether you have built up your 460 or wanting more out of your stock motor letting it breath is always the answer to more horsepower and torque. Having seen the drastic performance increase with ported and balanced single plane manifolds paired with multi-port efi we had to give it a shot. The result was an instant and undeniably increase in power. Starting with Ford’s factory intake we start by cutting the stair-stepped bottom out. From there we remove all the internal passages. They are cut back into a balanced much short length. The air no longer has to get drawn through long runners that make sharp 90 degree turns. Instead each cylinder can now easily draw the air it needs to make the power a 460 is capable of. The easiest way to describe the difference is, instead of downshifting just lay into the throttle and watch the speedo climb. As always, we did 12 time trial pulls before and after the intake. The difference was 1.75 seconds difference in 0-60 in the pictured blue and white 9000 lb. Monster. Everyone who has gone for a ride has said they all felt a huge difference. As the driver it feels like I just unhooked the flatbed trailer.
Depending on how quickly you need your new intake, there are two purchasing options:
Option 1: We don’t charge a core charge. You send us your intake for this service, and we verify that it’s usable. If it is, we send your new intake out the same day. Price includes S+H on delivery of your new intake.
Option 2: If you need your new intake faster, pre-pay the refundable core charge of $230. We will immediately ship your performance modified intake, simply send us your old one. Once we receive your intake in usable condition we refund the core charge fee.
Premium Springs, Locks, and Retainers Kit: 1988-1997 EFI 460
Do you wonder why your 460 has lost power over the years? Well after 30 years your springs are dead and soft. They should be 100 lbs at the seat, and over 250 at the nose of the cam. Most we measure are lucky to have 45 lbs at the seat and only 130 over the nose. Often they are even worse off than this. This means you are floating valves and losing compression, power, and efficiency. We have measured hundreds of combinations and partnered with Howards Cams to bring you a premium set-up that will increase the available lift to more than any other combination can offer. This will allow you to run our stage 2, stage 3, and stage 3 + cams without having to have the guides cut down. You will want to still measure the available room as a few sets of the early E7 heads had a little less.
